Kim Wallins

Principal

Kim Wallins has over 15 years of experience in software and technology, and more than six years of experience in recruiting. Prior to launching Hire On-Demand, Kim was a Sr. Account Executive with Salesforce.com, a pioneer in the Cloud-Computing space. At Salesforce, Kim was responsible for selling their flagship CRM solution, as well as educating businesses about the Cloud delivery model and Salesforce.com platform. She is Salesforce.com certified.

Kim began her career in technology recruiting at DirectFit (now TekSystems), where she was consistently ranked as a top performer—including being recognized as the number one revenue producer across seventeen offices. Kim later worked for Glotel, where she successfully established and managed a branch office in Boston.

Kim’s technology experience also includes two years working as an Account Executive at CCBN (now Thomson Financial), where she sold a hosted web solution that enables publicly traded companies (including many Fortune 500s) to deliver their investor communications. Previously, Kim spent four years working for IBM, selling their PC product line. At IBM, Kim played a leadership role, which included managing an inside sales group.

Originally from Boston, Kim has also spent time living in North Carolina and Atlanta. She currently resides in San Francisco, where she is an active member of the Cloud-Computing community and long-standing (long distance) fan of the Boston Celtics.
